Don’t miss this event! Bring your friends and family to this year’s inaugural art exchange event “Peak at the Arts: Global Artists Exchange Festival” at the Pikes Peak Center in downtown Colorado Springs. On October 8 and 9, 2010, Hunter-Wolff Gallery is honored to be showcasing 12 of its top artists along with other first-class artists at the Peak at the Arts event.  Bringing such a diverse group of performers and visual artists together from Colorado Springs and Costs Rica is an event we could not pass up! From Hunter-Wolff Gallery, Laura Reilly, Janelle Cox, John Sherman and others will join me during Opening Night on October 8th and we hope to see you too.

The doors open at 6:30 pm at the Pikes Peak Center , located at 190 South Cascade Avenue, for an exciting evening of world class dance and music performances melded with visual art exhibition. Based on current ticket sales, some 4,000 art enthusiasts, sponsors and supports will witness a memorable evening with:

  • The Kaminari Japanese Taiko Drum Ensemble from Japan and Crestone, Colorado

For the visual art enthusiast, dozens of artists’ work will be projected onto a 40 foot screen at the Pikes Peak Center Stage before the performance and during intermission along with continuous viewing on two wide screen lobby video monitors.  A select number of original pieces will also be exhibited in the Lobby for viewing and purchase.  Hunter-Wolff Gallery is exhibiting a diverse group of work by John Sherman, Janelle Cox, Marlene Kort, Laura Reilly, Don Hamilton, Katherine McNeill and Sparky LeBold.  (John Sherman is showing for the first time in Colorado Springs a 70″ w x 55″ h painting that will grab your attention).
