With twenty new paintings be prepped for hanging this coming week and new exhibit  images arriving in my email every day, it is hard to contain my excitement.  Two paintings have already been tagged for purchase without even being seen in person.  How exciting is that for the artist, Jeannie Breeding?

You too can get in on the early selection process, just by going to our website and looking for all the new images labeled with a title that begins with “Lands Near & Far … “  These pieces will be hung next Monday, August 30 and can be viewed in person before the Opening Reception on Friday, September 3.  Breeding Collectors will have an opportunity to place their red sold button on the wall label anytime before the Opening.

This show and exhibit could very well be our best attended show of the year – come early!  The gallery is open every day from 11 am to 5 pm and show night until 9 pm.  See you there!

Quiz:  Do you know where Tinos is located?  And how many churches do you see in this “gallery pick” painting?

Jeannie Breeding at Work

Representing Colorado artist Jeannie Breeding is an honor and owning her work is a privilege. I explore the work of hundreds of artists year after year but few move me the way Jeannie Breeding’s work does.  Aside from her continued success as an artist and growing collectors, she brings more than a unique style and skill to her paintings.  Her work is all about emotion and awakening the senses.  This is what makes art great.

When art enthusiasts come across her work in my gallery, they stop dead in their tracks and there is silence … then an explosion of praise. Always the comments are about how her work makes the viewer feel. For those who appreciate her level of her expertise, making a decision to add a Jeannie Breeding painting to their home becomes necessary.

She transports onlookers to far-away lands and places them on the spot where she once stood, in the warm morning light or at location that feels so real it reaches into ones soul.  You can “feel” the moist air on your skin or the cool fog whisking across your face. Her work makes me feel alive and in awe of the beauty our planet offers.

You can see some of Jeannie’s work on our website, but you will experience something moving and delightful when you stand in front of her work. She just completed several 9×12 plein air paintings of Colorado landscape when the chamiza is in full bloom and the morning light is perfect.  We hope you stop in to experience what her collectors already know.  It’s an experience you won’t forget.
