Carved from Jelutong (Dyera costulata) wood from Malaysia. The wood is white or straw colored, and there is no differentiation between heartwood and sapwood. The texture is moderately fine and even, the grain is straight, and the luster is low which makes Larry Szabelski's sculptures fine collectible wood carvings. Handpainted using acrylic paints.
