Zuni Sun is part of the Painted Ponies series, an homage to the Native American horse.  In Zuni culture, the sun plays an important role in all aspects of native life.

Mixed Media ceramic sculpture, oxide glazing with mica accents, applewood and leather legs; padauk base with copper accent; turquoise, silver, and found object accents.
